#015: What I Aggregated With Yahoo Pipes

Using Yahoo Pipes has definitely been an experience. What it does is take syndicated data and mashes them up into a single feed. The GUI is intuitive but there is still definitely a learning curve involved. After messing around with features I got something that looks like this.

It looks a mess and I tried to make it as complicated as I could without creating an empty pipeline! I imagine the back-end looks a hell of a lot worse. Fortunately the end-result is very nice looking.

Miami Heat Central - (Hopefully this feed will be filled with good news tonight)
In a nutshell, it gets local news on the Miami Heat from the past two days to the present.

Also, since Yahoo Pipes not only gives you a standard landing page, but can export RSS, JSON, PHP and more formats, I was able to create a Blogger Widget with the feed. Check that out on the right side-bar!
